We talk all the time, so why should you pay to talk to somebody?

When you go to a Person-Centred therapist they will provide you with an environment where you are not just having a chat like with a friend. This is a relationship where you are valued and everything you have to say is valued. Your opinions are important and the therapist will refrain from adding their own opinion into this space. Any intervention the therapist takes will be to facilitate you to be able to explore your issues at depth. What you say, how you say it and what you are not saying are all important in this space. This will all be done without judgement. It is a safe and confidential space. Even the silence will be loud enough for you to hear. Whatever solutions you come up with will be as a result of you really exploring your situation and coming up with the solution that is best for you. You are the EXPERT on your life.
